Memory 4

When I was a teacher at Harrison Memorial High School, Montego Bay, I became a close friend of Gen. When I was getting married in 1974 I got dressed at her home and she baked our wedding cake.

In 2014 we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and she baked our Anniversary cake. She celebrated with us and I was happy to see her. I will always remember Gen. She will surely be missed.

May her soul rest in peace.

Sweet Tooth

I had a sweet tooth and she had sweet fingers and so between the two of us we were always in business. So sad that after baking my wedding cake, the last wedding she attended she went on to her rest.

Sweet sleep Gen, Granville has lost a pillar. You truly lived by the side of the road where you were a friend to many...

Elicia and I will cherish your memories

Memory 3

Bev has been known to me for over 25 years.  We worked on the same complex and for years we travelled home together. We shared, we laughed and over the years the relationship grew closer and she became a part of my family.

She was a very caring, loving and kind person and one who embraced people irrespective of background.  Her joy was to make couples happy when seeing the masterpiece she creates for their wedding.  Her wedding cakes were always a cut above the rest, I can attest to that as she has done two (2) wonderful master pieces for my two children's wedding.

She was so loved and will always be remembered by everyone who came in contact with her.

Sadly missed by Barbara Sharpe and Family.

The Newly Weds (L-R: Keith Davidson, Henry Osborne, Beverly Osborne, Blossom Davidson)

Thoughts on Mrs. Osborne

Welcoming, warm, vibrant, hardworking are just a few words I would use to describe Mrs. Osborne. I met her many years ago and from the very first moment she made me feel as if I was a part of her family. She was always taking care of me and I never imagined all those years ago that she could have such an impact on my life. While I was living in Jamaica, I would make frequent trips from Mandeville to Montego Bay to get a chance to spend time with her and her family. We would stay up for hours talking and just sharing our experiences in life. She inspired me with her inner strength and her unbending faith in God.  After I moved overseas, we did not lose touch. On my trips back to Jamaica, I would always include a visit to Mrs. O's house. In recent years, it became her habit to see me off at the airport. On my last visit to Jamaica in August, she packed me up with food to take back with me and took me to the airport. She was like a second mom to me and touched my life completely.

She also touched the lives of others through her culinary talents. Many can consider themselves blessed to have had their wedding catered by Mrs. Osborne. Eating a slice of cake baked by Mrs. O was like getting a slice of heaven; it always left you wanting more. Even the meals in her house were exceptional and delicious. She used her cooking as a way to share her love with others.

Her laugh, her words of wisdom, just her presence could brighten up your day. Despite the challenges of life, she was always positive and trying to make others smile. And she used her life to help those around her. Mrs. Osborne was a loving, caring, and extraordinary woman. God you took a really good one from us but I am blessed to have had the privilege of knowing her.

Memory 1

As long as I can remember Mommy Osborne has always being a part of my life. Growing up at Granville S.D.A Church you would have had to talk to her or received a warm greeting and a smile from her. When I was younger, going over the house just to chill with Jamie, I can't remember leaving without something sweet in my mouth! I'm jealous of Henry's' metabolism. Lol!

I must say she was a lover of young people!! Even in college I can remember whenever she came to visit, everybody had niggaritis afterwards. Lololoo ahhh and when we were graduating she came and showed us love.

It sucks!!!!!

She'll be missed.

LOVE YOU MOMMY OZZY!!!
